You've chosen Rose as your first base note.  Rose, is the king of florals.  The classic flower, it has a powerful and almost masculine side to it.  It's warm with some slightly fruity tones, very little herbaceousness in this scent.  It smells great with all other fragrances, but we've had exceptional success with Woods, Florals, Musks, Oakmoss, and of course anything Vanilla.
